It depends on the scope of the work. A straightforward repair, such as replacing slipped tiles or resealing flashing, is typically completed within a day. More complex repairs, such as a chimney rebuild or failed flat roof section, may take two to three days. We will give you a clear timescale as part of your written quotation following the site visit.
Most standard roofing work, including repairs, re-roofing and flat roof replacement, falls within permitted development and does not require planning permission, provided you are using materials of a similar appearance to the existing roof. Extensions and structural alterations may require planning permission depending on the size and location. We will advise you at the quotation stage if your project is likely to require approval.
We use quality materials specified for each application and matched to your existing roof where applicable. The materials to be used are detailed in your written quotation before work begins, so you know exactly what is being installed and why.
